Our Artists and Makers
Bay-Made is the home of dozens of local businesses located in one of the counties touching the San Francisco Bay, but we also host mini flagship stores of several of our makers so that you can buy from them directly!
Below are the artists and businesses whose shops we are hosting at Bay-Made! Their images will direct you to their own website if they have one.
Other artists and businesses featured in the shop:
Keep in mind we may not have 100% of each of these in stock at any given moment, but these are the businesses we have in stock most often!

Interested in having your work in Bay-Made?
If you would like to be a part of Bay-Made, we are always looking on a limited basis, so feel to message us on Instagram or email us. We are teeny-tiny and can’t possibly work with every talented artist or amazing business out there, so please be kind if we can’t carry your work or miss your submissions. We took down our submission portal originally because we were getting thousands of submissions, and it became too much. We have had folks leave us bad reviews for not carrying their work, or show up with their entire portfolios and be upset we won’t look at it or buy from them right then—please be polite, we are just a few humans trying to get by. We have very high standards, and while there are a lot of amazing makers and products out there, we look for items that can be sold well commercially in a shop and that have great packaging and that protects your items from grubby mitts.
Whose work do you host?
We are asked frequently if we work with artists of color in our store, LGBTQ makers, or if we actually carry work from Bay Area natives like the Ohlone. Other than not being able to find an Ohlone artisan or business work with (Yet! If this is you or a loved one, pleaseee reach out!), the answer is a resounding yes!
While we don’t believe in tokenism, we opt instead to find the best work out there, and because of this, our makers are exceptionally diverse and are reflective of our community. Truth be told, most of our makers are women or women-owned businesses, and we are so proud to share their work with you. Due to our understanding of our own white privilege as owners of this shop, as well as knowledge of the disparity of socio-economic situations in the Bay, we do our best to work with underrepresented artists & tiny “kitchen” businesses, but we do work with a few larger companies, as well. Keep in mind, we are limited in our store by what we can possibly find actually made in the bay area that is up to our high standards, and sometimes it’s extremely difficult to source particular items. Not every single one of our products is going to be made by the representation you may be looking for, but if we don’t carry it, we may be able to point you in the right direction. We are doing the best we can!
