Beginner Loom Weaving (Ages 16+)

100.00

This class is held on Wednesday, November 6th from 6:30pm-9:30pm, and will begin promptly.

This three hour class is for beginners who are eager to learn the art of tapestry loom weaving! You can come as a complete beginner or having done loom weaving a few times but need a refresher. We will cover the basics of loom weaving with simple techniques before delving further into the more complex weave stitches. You will learn the terminology and how to start your loom so that you may continue the process at home. All the necessary materials you need for the class will be provided, you are also able to purchase the class with a take home loom kit for an additional 40$ so that you can continue your loom weaving after you leave our workshop! If you’d like to purchase the class now and the loom kit the night of your class we can ring your purchase up that night in store. Coming with a design or specific yarn is not necessary but you are welcome to prepare something ahead of time and bring a material you’d love to utilize and we will instruct you in class how it can be used. Anyone who is passionate about learning a new skill and has the patience to make mistakes and try again will love this class and be surprised by what they are able to accomplish with a few hours of instruction.
